If fish swim around in the ocean all the time, do they drink that water when they're thirsty? I think this is actually a good question...Is this a stupid question?

hahaha, i have wondered this before, too!
ReplyDeleteFreshwater fish do not actively drink water, but absorb the water through their skin and gills. On the other hand, saltwater fish do actively drink sea water. Their gills process the water and take out the salt.
